Anna has spent her career organizing different kinds of travel and events. Working for prestigious companies like Multisolutions, United Travel and Events and Logostour, she gained priceless experience with small and large groups and incentive-based packages. Anna also continued her education and expanded her love of languages with postgraduate work in translations.
Since she was a child, Anna has travelled far and wide, from Tunisia to the Himalayas and beyond while experiencing and loving the different languages and cultures she has encountered. Anna has ridden motorcycles across Central Africa and summited many of the famous mountains of the world, such as Kilamanjaro, and gone as high as the Everest Base Camp.
When she has free time in Cabarete, Anna spends it on the water, kiting and on the occasional days when there’s no wind, she practices yoga and paints. When travelling, she enjoys walking through the backstreets of new places, trekking and snowboarding.
Anna is fluent in Polish, French, Spanish and English and living in the international community of Cabarete gives her the opportunity to speak all four, daily.

A French national, Adeline has lived in Cabarete for four years. She grew up in French Polynesia, Germany, Africa and France and has been travelling since she was a young girl, including trips to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and India.
Adeline combined her passion of travel with her professional career when she moved to Oxford, England to manage a Starbucks Coffee shop for a year. After discovering kitesurfing, Adeline moved to Tarifa, Spain for three years where she managed a hotel. During this time, she sharpened her customer service skills and discovered that she loved helping the hotel clients have excellent travel experiences and she made it her mission to ensure they enjoyed Tarifa.
In 2011, she took a position at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic as a Supervising Manage of Customer Service and after two years of hard work at this large resort, kitesurfing brought her to Cabarete where she managed the Natalie Simon Water Sports Club before joining the staff at an Eco-Lodge close to Cabarete. With her knowledge of Cabarete and the Dominican Republic, Adeline is able to organize great trips with local flavor and help clients discover the amazing country she calls home.

A refugee from the New York City Advertising and Entertainment world, Josh is the Art Director, Visual Designer and primary photographer for active-caribbean.com. He is also a professional musician and freelance action photographer. In his spare time, he kiteboards, rides enduro motocross, writes and spends times with his three rescue dogs.
Nina is a latin dance teacher, choreographer and lead dancer in a the New York City-based African dance troupe, “Kamutshima,” (First Place Winners at IRAWMA 2015). A frequent traveller to Cuba, Nina also conducts workshops in the US and Europe and organizes African Dance, Latin Dance and Afrobeat events, concerts and parties as the Artistic Director for the Jungledom Network, NYC, and as Alma Libre in Cabarete.
Partnered with her cousin, Nina opened her first dance studio in Cabarete in 2011 and has been running it solo since 2013. Classes are run professionally, with a lot of fun and a bit of craziness.
Nina is Fluent in French, Spanish and English.
“I am passionate about dance and even more about teaching. My dance background is Jazz, Afro , latin , belly dance and more . I just love all kinds of dance. I teach Cuban Salsa and tipical Dominican Bachata as for me they are perfect to express yourself and it bring so much happiness into your life. The most important to know is that I have so much fun teaching with energy, laughter and passion! I have students from everywhere and they are always so happy – that’s MY biggest accomplishment!”
After finishing her Inner Dance teacher training from Bahay Kalipay Energy School in Palawan, Philippines, Fatima taught her signature Vinyasa of Coreball Yogilates and ElectroYoga in Project Zen, the first and only Yoga Studio then in Haiti. During almost 9 years of Hatha Yoga practice, she shared the joy of yoga on land, in the water (Aqua Yoga) and while suspended in the air (antigravity/aerial yoga). She’s teaching privately and guiding yoga retreats in hidden tropical forests and beaches of Dominican Republic.
Fatima speaks Tagalog, English, French Creole and Spanish.

He started kiteboarding in 2004 while working at a kite school and it was his love and passion for the sport that led him to become a professional. Since 2008 Alex has been involved with the most important global and local kite competitions, such as the PKRA and Master Of The Ocean and he was one of the top ten riders in the world. Alex is a sponsored rider for F-One Kites.
